Chip Seal Process
Surface Preparation: The existing road surface is cleaned to remove debris, dirt, and loose gravel. Application of Asphalt Binder: A hot liquid asphalt binder is spread over the road surface. Chip Application: Small aggregate (chips) is then evenly spread over the asphalt binder. Compaction: The surface is rolled to embed the chips into the binder, ensuring a good bond.
